G4 not truning on...

I rearranged some cables in my G4 and now when I hit the power button it flashes but does not turn on... anybody know what that means?

How many flashes? It will flash a certain number of times, pause, and repeat.

This only flashes once.... when I hit it. When i hit it and hold down it still only flashes once.

Try starting the system with nothing plugged into it -- even the video cable. If it starts, you can always hold in the Power button until it shuts down.

If that fails, try these:

Thanks fellas... it turned out that underneath a mad and twisted bunch of sata cables my power connector to the logic board had come a tad loose. For a second there I thought maybe my PSU had blown... whew!
