Hey guys,

going to apple store tomorrow ta buy a 17" 1.8GHz iMac G5.
I had a coupla questions.

Can you upgrade the video card yourself in an iMac? The only reason i ask this is because the older version, the one with 64mb video RAM is only $999 on apple's special deals section.
With my student discount, i can get the brand new iMac G5 for $1199. Is the $200 price difference worth the added features?

If you could help me out that would be great, thanks!

The video card on the iMac is soldered onto the midplane so you won't be able to remove it.
