my question is
will the top of the line desk top machines 'evolve' over the next two years? Will IBM not bother with the dual dual?

so by fall or early '06 with the PowerMac line be the same? Fall '06?

I was planning on a G5 for late fall/early '06. id there were a dual dual and those four chips did something for me with the software I had and the ****** pormise ******* that they would do a lot for 10.5?

wait two years?

don't really know

There will be faster G5s and G4s, that has been confirmed by Jobs, but whether they will be the *new* chips everyone has been speculating about for some time is unlikely.
