I noticed that the shipping time for customized Mac minis has jumped from 1-3 days to 6-8. Is this a sign that a new model's coming out soon?

Errr... EOL means that the product line has been killed. Quite a different thing from an update.

Still.... here's hoping that the mini gets to at LEAST the same spec as the eMac... specifically the 64MB Radeon 9600.

i think a 9600 might be a bit of a jump for a mini, i'm expecting a 64mb FX5200 but if they wanna cram a 9600 in there i won't complain

I think that they upgrade the processor speeds too. Now that they took the single PM away and bumped the iMacs there is a speedgap in the product line. The new imacs should be around 1,6 to 1,8 GHz.

I'm hoping for a 1.42/1.67GHz processor bump, along with 512RAM, 5400rpm hdds and LINE IN AUDIO!!!! (It was a pretty stupid move to not put line in on a mini especially now with them touting Garageband.
