Slow internet connectivity with Mac Mini?

My Mac Mini and a Dell PC are connected via a KVM switch and both go through a common ethernet hub to a DSL modem and then out to the internet. The connectivity of the PC is 2-3 times faster than with the Mini. Is there an obvious reason for this and is there any way to optimize the speed for the Mini?

How are you measuring "connectivity"?

Is it that web browsing seems snappier on the PC? How about the speed of large downloads?

I am not sure about download speed. What I am seeing is that it takes 10-20 seconds for a web page to appear with the Mac Mini and 2-5 seconds for the same page to come up with the PC.

Are you using different browsers on the Mini and PC?

Specs on PC & mini? that could have alot to do with how the page is being displayed.
(Powermac) 2x 2.0Ghz / 2560MB DDR400 / Radeon x800xt / 2x 36GB Raptors (Raid 0)
