I just got a dual 1.8 with a GeForce FX 5200. I have a NEC multisync LCD.

There are two dvi outputs on the graphics card, one in the center and one on the edge (or left and right as seen from the back).

Is it better to use one over another?

No diff... just rearrange to your liking with the system prefs pane.

If both ports are identical then they are dvi, however if one is oval rather than rectangular then it's an ADC connector.

They are both the same. First one connected becomes primary monitor.

Do yourself a favour though. For a Dualie 1.8 a better grafic card.

I do mostly Photoshop, email, web, chat and ocassional gaming. Which ones do you think best to get? ATI 9600, 9600XT, 9650, 9800 Pro Mac SE or X800XT?
I dont think I can afford X800XT since I'm on a tight budget after I just spent some serious cash on my G5.
How loud is the 9800 Pro Mac SE?

I put a 9800XT (usually BTO) in my dual 1.8... runs like a champ now compared to the 5200.

If you can get one, the 9800xt is well worth the cash!

Compare to 256MB ATI 9800 Pro mac SE which is better, I mean performance wise probably 9800 but what about noise wise? I like quiet machine.
9800Pro SE = $250 new, 9600XT = $200 used.
I mean for 50 bucks, I rather get a better card but I heard the 9800 Pro SE are loud.

The 9600 XT does not use a fan. No noise.
