Hi Gang
Is it possible to use some of my RAM sticks from my PowerMac dual G4 1.25 in a new G5 Powermac?
Thanks in advance for all the help.

What speed is the RAM? If it's PC3200 or faster, you can swap it in.

Only if it's a 1.6GHz single G5 or you bought memory for your MDD that is faster than the specifications require. The MDD uses PC2700, as does the 1.6GHz G5, but all other G5s require PC3200.

And the RAM also has to be installed in matched pairs.

Thanks everyone...sounds like a NO, given that it's PC2700...oh well, it's fun to buy new stuff now and then! ;-)
Cheers.

DDR has gotten very inexpensive over the last six to nine months, so the purchase shouldn't be too painful.
