I've had a DP2.0 for a little under a year (which reminds me that AppleCare might not be such a bad idea) and I'd been getting fed up with my 17" sony LCD. Not that it was a bad unit mind you, but it was a bit small. So, back in April I started drooling over Dell's 2005FPW and I got to have the bitter pleasure of seeing it come on sale for $400/450 without having that kind of money. However, now that it is summer and I have income I jumped on the latest sale.

My G5 is now driving a 20" LCD... and I found an Eye-One Display Calibrator on J and R .com for $60 and being the photo geek that I am, I picked that up too.

I am a very happy geek.

DP2.0/2096/160GB/4x Superdrive/Radeon9600 + 2005FPW
however, the Superdrive is going to be replaced by a DVR-109 and the 9600/64 by a 9800/128 (or a 256 if I can swing it).

*evil grin*

Don't try to outweird me, I get stranger things than you free with my breakfast cereal.

Congratulations! Mac OS X deserves a huge display, I had switched from an Apple Display 21" CRT to a Philips 17 TFT and mate, this thing is so small…
