Apple had to replace the midplane in my iMac. This was after the power supply and harddrive they setn did not fix the problem. Anyway to make a long story short, they sent me 2 midplane assy. boards. One they sent to the wrong address. Usually apple makes you return the broken item, but in this case they didn't. It has been about 4 months since that screw up.

So, now I am wondering if the board is worth anything. The video card is the part that was messed up, other than that the board should be fine. I could find any such thing on Ebay.com so I thought I would ask the great minds here.

Maybe I will just incase it plastic and hang it on the wall

Without knowing exactly what is wrong with the 'video card' there is a slim chance that the mirror display output may work, but only if the problem lies in the display side of things or perhaps is just a broken track or similar. If I had the time, I'd love an iMac midplane to play with so I think you could get some money for it depending on how many other components you leave on it.
