I have 1.5 gigs of RAM installed - and they all worked perfectly with Panther. I have just noticed that "about this mac" only recognizes 512mb now. Since I noticed, I havestalled Tiger and brought my computer into AppleCare for a new power system (can't quite put my finger on the right term), new video card and new DVD burner - I know bad luck - but at least I had warrenty.

So basically I am not sure if the unrecognized RAM is due to Tiger or the installation/tweaking of my system in the shop.

I got the RAM from crucial last spring, and have not had any trouble before.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance,

Zach

I'd bet money that it was tinkered with during the tweaking of your system. The easiest thing to do is to open 'er up and see if the RAM is still there. If it is, re-seating it will most likely fix the problem.
