I recently successfully flashed my Pioneer DVR-117D to a DVR-108. However I've noticed that my G5 is a lot louder than before. I thought there was a program to reduce the drive noise, but I can't seem to find it anymore. Does anyone know if it actually exists?

Please help, thanks.

Sorry I dont have an answer for you but from personal experience if you have applecare you just voided you warranty. As for the drive noise I think thats why apple crippled the 117d the extra speed would just make it unstable for the long run. I know not much help but just a little heads up if you have applecare and the drive dies like mine did last week.
