Okay, here's the deal. I have a dual g4 quicksilver, a PCI sonnet ata133 controller card, with three hard drives. A 120 gig western digital, and twin 160 gig maxtors. I THINK it was one of the maxtors that clicked, which is scary, because they are currently RAID 0'd, or striped, where it splits the info instead of making it redundant. Anyway, I want to back it up onto my third HD, which I'm doing, and then reformat my other two drives to RAID 1.

How do I do that? Is it done using disk utility? I've never set this computer up, I scored it off ebay, so I'm new to formating the drives initially. How do I change it so it's redundant, and protects my data?

A clicking hd is a bad hd. If it is already making noises, replace it. RAID1 won't help if you already hear noises. Backup your data asap, then unplug one of the harddrives you suspect to be defective and listen. Repeat again with the other.

Haven't heard the noise since.... is there a way to make them click, so I can figure out which one it is?

Well, some harddrives click if the heads are moved to their parking position. But if you are not sure, test the drives, e. g. with Silverlining or TechTool Pro.
