Hi,
Just wanted to know how many people have had to have there back light replaced in the G5 imac?.Ive been on the the phone since monday afternoon with apple to get the tech guru to come out and have it replaced and whilst the part is in stock the best they said the can do is come out to my place by next friday. (the following week that is)

So whats the turn around on this specific repair

are you talking about that pretty light that comes on and glows? and it shows in the front lower right side? sorry i didnt understand coz you said backlight...my light shows in the front.

sorry i have been told its called the backlight.A cable witch connects to the screen.My screen as it is looks like tinted glass
