Hi, I bought an iMac G5 in October of last year. Since then it has worked faithfully. However, this morning it started acting wierd by cutting off in the middle of startup. At this moment, it sometimes gets as far as the "Welcome to Mac OS X" screen and then completely cuts off. What could be wrong with it? Thanks for any help!

Can you boot off the Install DVD?

Took it back to the Apple store. Thankfully, it was still under warranty. The power supply had gone bad. $165.00 to replace. Does this happen a lot to other iMac owners?
