I have a PowerMac G3 Blue and White and in it, it has a 10 gig hard drive, I purchased an external Maxtor 40 gig hard drive to put in the g3 should I put it in? Also I want to transfer all the whole 10 gig hard drive to the 40 gig is there a program or any way possible to do that?

Any Help Would Be Appreciated!!!!!

Firewire or USB? Either way you could clone your internal drive to the external and then rip it outta the external case and install it into the B&W or you can swap drives (put the 10 in the external and the 40 in the B&W) install a fresh copy of your favorite OS and then just drag your stuff back.. There are many ways to do it.

Rev 2 motherboard ? If so just buy a new 120 gig and install it and use that. they are pretty cheap.
