Rev. B should be a tad better than Rev.A. No ? I think you look inside the Mac on the mainboard somewhere. I have not quite figured it out. But I know mine is a Rev.A because of the date of purchase and all the problems I have or have had.

Rev A models:
17" 1.6Ghz or 1.8Ghz
20" 1.8Ghz
All come with 256Mb RAM and 64Mb VRAM

Rev B models:
17" 1.8Ghz or 2.0Ghz
20" 2.0Ghz
All come with 512Mb RAM and 128Mb VRAM

Feel underneath just to the right of the Apple logo on the air intakes. If you have the little button-sensor that controls your sleep light according to the ambient light, then you have a Rev.B

oh i guess i have a rev A , but my logic board fried, and i got a new one, does that make it a rev B now ? haah, mine came with 512mb ram, 20in, and 1.8ghz

the REVISION A's came with 256 megs of ram - the Revision B's came with 512...
