I downloaded a widget (I'm running 10.4.2) to check my G4s processor temperature:

http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashb...nicpuheat.html

It can only find the temperature sensor on my hard drive, and nothing else. This seemed odd to me, does anyone else have a quicksilver G4 with no processor temperature sensors?

The G4 procs (or at least the ones in the Quicksilver and MDD Models and new Freescale models) do not have sensors built in.

I downloaded and installed Temperature Monitor and it shows a CPU temperature for "CPU B" on my dual 867 MDD G4.

FWIW it's currently running at 97.7 F. If Chud's Nap Mode isn't on then it will creep up towards 120 F.
