Hello,

I purchased a Mac Mini a few months back and didn't think I would need WIFI since I had access to wires but now I don't.

Can a Linksys or Dlink wireless game adapter work with the mac min? You know those WIFI units with antenas that capture the wireless signal and transmit(convert) it to an ethernet port?!

Thanks for your help

ANY ethernet-to-wireless bridge, exactly like the boxes you're talking about, will work just fine. And while they're often more expensive than buying an AirPort card, they have the benefit of not requiring you to open your Mini!

Along with looking for a game adapter, take a look at "wireless bridges." They're basically the same thing, and the bridges may be less expensive and more general-purpose than the game adapters.

why not buy a powered usb hub and then a usb ethernet adaptor? a wireless usb adaptor can be had for $20 after rebate, and a powered usb hub is ALWAYS useful, especially for a mini.
