How well does Apple's order status work?

	I ordered a mini yesterday morning...the shipping time was same business day. I needed it quickly, so I ordered overnight shipping, expecting to have it today. After the order was placed, the status said it would ship "on or before August 11th." It still says that on at noon on the 12th, and the official status has been "processing order." Can I assume that the mini still hasn't been processed yet, despite Apple claiming same day shipping, or does Apple's order status just not work that well (as I've seen with several other companies).
