My Company is considering incorporating Mac Minis into a light-manufacturing environment, and I want the Mini to run on DC. To do this, I need the Mini's power connector to wire in. I suppose we could "cut the cord" but then there'd be no possibility of using AC. Does anyone know what the connector they use is called or where I could purchase some?

Why not either: a) buy a sacrificial mini power supply to dissect, or b) ask Apple -- they allow iPod accessories, why not Mac mini ones?

Thanks, tooki. Our initial run would be 8 units (mucho dinero if disecting). We could sacrafice all 8 supplies, but the thing is that we only need the connector, and if we want to run on AC too, then we'd be out of luck. I might call Apple to see what they might do on something that could help move the platform forward, but if whoever makes these connectors can sell them too, I'd love to get a bag.
