just wondering if this is common: i just used my 20" iMac (Rev B) as target mode to put some songs onto my PB. as soon as the firewire icon came out, the "leafblower" fan gushed out.

only got that one other time: when iMac would not wake up from sleep, but fan did. had to restart.

I have a 17" rev B and the blowers do in fact come on in target mode

hi!

as you might have guessed, the fan speed is regulated by the OS. In target mode, however, no OS is active hence the fan runs at full blast. and what a blast...
