I want my cousins os x on my i mac.

I put the disc in and it just goes and goes then poof it gets stuck.

Other dics work

the osx disc works

Now sometimes it wont stick but still how do I get it to boot from it

dont worry my cousin has the newest osx and dosent use this disc set (thus it is mine hahahahahahaha)

but I hope i can get os-x I dont want linux (but if it is a must)

What model iMac have you got?

What OS are/were you runnign on your iMac?

Is our cousin's OS X disc an iBook disc or an OS X disc?

How much RAM do you have in you iMac?
