basically i am trying to have my iMac output its input. so i have input going into the audio input on my iMac (which is detected in system properties under input tab). i am using optical out with logitech speakers. output sound works fine on my computer in general but I want the input to be outputted by the speakers as well. is this possible / any ideas? i hope this make sense. thanks!

well i figured this one out if anyone is interested. this program called line-in lets you pass the input thru to the output and works great (and its free!)

I just use a small audio mixer. Very useful.
