The link doesn't work. What exactly do you want to know?

Ed, you realize that you could answer your own question by inspecting Apple's own specification pages?

I wanted a personal opinon though, i'd rather not buy stuff just on reviews i'd like to do research rather not buy a product that doesnt work to my liking.

I just checked out the links you supplied: Great setup, yes. There are a gazillion G5 users out there; so, there should be little research needed. As far as magazine reviews are concerned: Take them with a grain of salt -- or at least some habanero sauce.

To address the question regarding the use of this hardware in the U.K.: Not sure. Although, you may only need the U.K. power plug or adapter to get it to work.

Apple's own knowledgebase should be able to address that question, though. Also, this would be a good question to ask the reseller -- if they sell it, as an Apple Authorized reseller, they should be able to provide a good answer.

Hope this helps.

My PowerMacs (a MDD G4 and a Powermac G5) work equally well in the US and Germany (I have shucko and US power cables for my stuff). They are dual voltage, and don't require the manual switch common on PC ATX power supplies. Not sure what voltage the UK uses (I would assume the same as the rest of Europe), but you probably just need the proper power cable and/or plug adapter.

on to the topic:

You need to check that the voltage used in the UK will work with a PowerMac G5 (such as it having a voltage switch on the powersupply, US voltage is 115-120)
