I recently got a used ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (128MB Retail), for my good ole G4 Sawtooth. The card has a Y-style cable coming out for the power supply. I was able to hook up one part of the cable to the power supply, but I can't figure out where the other smaller part plugs in. Looking through online manuals, I gather it's supposed to plug into a hard drive or something, but I can't find a place where it might go.

The card seems to work without that 2nd part plugged in (I'm using it now), but if that cable is supposed to power the fan or something, I know there will be trouble around the corner. Can someone tell me whether the plug needs to be plugged, or whether I'm good as I am.

The second part of the "Y" is if you had to pull power off another device such as a hard drive or cd-rom in order to power your video card. If you had extra power connectors and didn't have to unplug anything in order to power your video card, it is not necessary to hook it up to anything.
