Hi,

When my GigE G4 is deep sleeping the power supply gets pretty hot (I'd say 45-60 C). When woke up the fans kick in and everything gets back to normal.

The power supply doesn't heat when the G4 is shutted down.

I've checked Apple support pages and found nothing relevant to this problem.

Somebody ever faced it or have a suggestion?

Thanks.

Does the psu make any noises? Do you have any pci cards plugged in?
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

No noise, no pci cards.

For now I'm shutting the comp down instead of putting it to sleep, but I miss the sleep option.
