Has anyone seen one yet? Or has a store somewhere said it will have one in really soon (e.g. a few days or less)?

no. they havent started to ship yet. shipping in 5-8 days, expect to see them towards the end of october

I just thought that someone in an Apple store might have said--"We've got one coming in on Monday" or something like that.

I asked yesterday at the Apple Store in Cincinnati and they said that they will be receiving theirs by October 25th.

I went to the Emeryville, CA Apple Store today and they said they had several of each model in stock in the back but not on display yet. "Huge order" is expected later next week apparently.

I wonder if "in stock" means that they would sell one? Also wonder why they don't have them on display since they are already on the website and can be bought.

17" in Santa Monica, CA is on display. Looks a bit thinner on the edges and thanks to
the round shape of the back - looks a bit more "modern".
The quality of iSight preview s@cks. I'm not sure why it was so much better when Steve
was presenting it las Wed

The South Coast Plaza Apple store in Costa Mesa, CA received 10 17" models on Friday, and have two left as from an hour ago. They are selling them but had none on display.The Newport Beach store expects more tomorrow, so I don't think anyone needs to wait until the 25th to purchase one.

Thanks, ScottiB. Troy is the nearest store to me and I try to get in there about once every 4 months or so. Hopefully they will have some on display if I get in there in the next few weeks.

The Troy store got thier 17 inch demo units in last Thursday the 20th and had four to spare. So I picked one up.

ME FLAMING MAD imacs are in if you want a 17"  but i want a 20  thay gaurentee them by Tues. and they better be there when i get there at 8 o'clock
