I was trying to upgrade from os 8.6 because the thing comes with os 8.5 I think, and I downloaded an os 9.1 for it, but whenever I try to install it half way through it tells me it needs a folder or file called mac os 9.1, everythings there I dunno what its problem is.

The computer won't let us "downgrade" from os 8.6 to 8.5 because I think theres a virus on the computer. Everynight at Midnight exactly the computer freezes.

Also, is it possible to set up my mac to be a static ip dialup server? Thanks

I've seen the stall at midnight. It should last for one minute and then "thaw".

You can't download Mac OS 9 -- only the updates for Mac OS 9. You have to buy a copy from somewhere.
