Hi,

Tempted by the New G5 Quad, but then I think, If Apple bring out a duel Intel 3.6 or some such that will go even faster, it would make sense to wait. But maybe I can't

I have 2.5 gb DDR ram on my old (sigh ) G5 but wonder if I could move that across to the Quad G5 which takes DDR2?

Anyone?

1) The Intel Power Macs aren't coming until 2007, so one can only guess at what they'll be spec'd at.
2) No. DDR and DDR2 are physically incompatible.

My guess is that the Powermac Intel's will use FB-DIMM seeing as how Apple is Intel's new Wifey.
