On Dual G4 MDD!
after booting from CD it shows a message saying "osx4 can not be installed on this computer.

Any ideea?

Are you using a retail copy of Tiger or an OEM copy that came with another Mac? Newer OEM discs tend to be keyed to the particualar type of Mac that they came with. So for example a copy of Tiger that came with a Mac Mini wouldn't install on a Powerbook, etc..
