Hello everyone! I have a G5 1.6 with a FX5200 video card in it and i was wondering if anyone knew if it did 1680x1050 resolution for the dell 2005FPW?

I just want to make sure it can before i blow $500 on it, thanks

I have it KVM'd with my PC that has a x800 pro in it, and im PRETTY sure that card can do that rez.

Also any thoughts or opinions on the monitor before i buy wouldnt hurt.

No reason why it wouldn't.

I own a 2005FPW and love it. Great picture and plenty of features. You should be able to pick it up for less than $500 if you look for coupons.

Yes, the FX5200 can connect to the 2005FPW. The performance may not be great (Expose jumping/lagging, etc), but it will work.

Yesterday I saw the 2500FPW on Dell's site for $397 shipped.
