I'm tempted to finally replace my dual proc G4 (1.42 GHz), now that Apple has released yet another batch of G5's. Would a dual core 2 GHz G5 be that much faster than my machine, fast enough to justify spending the money? Should I wait for the Intel-based machines? Also, does Virtual PC run much faster on the G5 than the G4? What about Mac the Ripper? Not that I would use such software. . .
