Hello , im quite new to working on emac's , Im attempting to repair a school emac , Currently it underwent a full hardware cleaning ( aka F- disking ) im attempting to now reinstall the os-x but now apperently it needs an installation path , where the box is to select a path , its blank , im not sure if i need to go into the control and erase it completely , it dosent give me the option to repair its faded out . Sorry if this sounds sorta stupid x.x; im a pc' man lol ... anyways ... your help would be greatly apperciated.

I can tell you're a PC man.
Macs don't have fdisk or DOS for that matter.

What OS are you trying to install?
Put the installation disk in the drive and after the chime, press and hold the C key.

Once you get the installation screen and assuming you DO want to format the drive - eg ERASE EVERYTHING... (from memory) look in the menus on the top of the screen, go to Disk Utility.

When in Disk Utility, choose the hard drive and then go to the erase tab.
Choose HFS extended and choose erase.
When erased, i think you should just close Disk Utility and then follow the on-screen instructions.
