Why is my powermac 2.3 Ghz suddenly freezing and the only ting I get is a blue screen? And this is happening more than one time after another. Is there some thing wrong with my computer? I use mac os 10.4.3.

Is this on boot up? Did you try an archive and install?

I've had a similar problem with my PB (1.5GHz, 2GB RAM etc.). Happened maybe 1 time in 4, and only when I had it hooked up to my 20" Cinema display. Hasn't happened with 10.4.3 yet.

I'd turn on the machine and eventually see no more than a blue screen that forces me to hard reset the computer. Next time around I'd get the log-in screen as per usual.

Is that what you're getting?

It is not happening when I turn on the computer, but when I use it. And it is not one thing I am doing. But it can be any thing. And it is a little annoying. Every thing just stops. And the blue screen appears.

Sounds like Windows

Are you talking about the Kernel Panic screen that tells you to restart in lots of different languages?

When you plug in/un plug a monitor a blue screen appears for a while then fades out. Check your monitor connection.
