Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me whether or not an Apple Hardware test will run tests on the HD as well. I am usually at school or work using my Powerbook, and the other morning when I booted up my fiancé's G5 I heard a horrible noise and have since noticed sporradic slowdowns and semi-freezes ( hesitations ). I am in the process of backing up now, and would like to be able to tell if it is the primary ( As I am well aware it will be) or the secondary HD. I left my restore cd as well as my Tiger DVD in my studio at school, so won't be able to try until tomorrow.
Sam
P.S. Both hd's show verified as SMART status.
