i have a g4 dp 800 and tiger. replacing my nvidia geforce 3 with an ati 9700 pro. do i need to remove any files related to the geforce 3 before proceeding? or do i just swap the cards and download new drivers from ati for the 9700?

thanks in advance for any help.

You just need to install the new card, and yes see if there's any new drivers to d/l and install.

There's no need to be concerned about drivers. They're already installed with the OS. What you do need to be concerned with is whether or not its an OEM 9700. If it is, it won't work in a Quicksilver.
