Hey guys!
I know I definitely want to pick up a G5 Mac in 2006. But I am torn on whether an iMac G5 1.9GHz with built-in iSight and all that is a better deal then a Dual 2Ghz G5 PowerMac (or maybe a Dual 1.8 depending on which I can find first I guess). It's a tough decision and will take a lot of saving, but what do you think would be best for me?

I do basic stuff along with a lot of Dreamweaver and Photoshopping. I use programs also like PageMaker and other designing apps. I am also interested in eventually getting an eyeTV. I like to game a little as well. Well--I only really like to play The Sims 2.

So, any ideas or thoughts, guys? Thanks!

What about a new 20" iMac? Unless you were thinking of a refurb dual 2.0, the 20" iMac might be an ideal mix. It won't be as fast as a Power Mac in Photoshop, but it'll be fast enough with enough RAM.

Any new iMac or Power Mac will be good enough for The Sims 2, that's for sure.

There is a Dual 2Ghz PowerMac Refurb on Apple's site for about 1600. But those are not guaranteed to be around forever.
