Hi folks,

I have thoughts of getting a Mac Mini to function as a wireless access point (and a little mp3 fileserver) for my home network.
There is an article about this setup here: http://www.smashsworld.com/2005/01/m...emeexpress.php

Appreciate any advice on the connection speed and stability when using the mini as a wap.

That article does not give tons of info. What I do know is that the signal will definitely be stronger in some directions than others because of where the card[s] are in the mini and the surrounding structure. My wife's iMac was 10 feet from my mini, both equidistant from the airport in my basement and the iMac always had an extra bar in the strength meter.
