I use KlearScreen on the screen of my FP iMac 80mhz. I have used this product since I bought a powerbook 540c new and then with a powerbook 3400. Granted, the screen on my iMac has been in use for 3 years but I am seeing some strange things when cleaning the screen with this product. Worked just like with previous machines until about 4 months ago. Now, when done cleaning, the screen is very streaked and seems to be clouded. I have changed to water and the screen is looking better with each cleaning. No streaks or cloudy look to it.

Anyone have these results with klearScreen? Maybe a change in the way it is made or the ingredients used?

I've always used a touch of water and a soft clean cotton sock every month or so, if that often. I'm pretty good about never touching the screen or allowing anyone else to drag their greasy finger across it. Just the occasional food splash if I'm eating in front of it.

Stick with the water. Sounds like it's clearing up at any rate.

hehe

Lets see... Soup, spaghetti, cereal and anything else with a touch of liquid in it has the possibility of creating a "food splash".
