I'm running OS 9.2.2 on a G4 667mhz (Digital Audio) and will be upgrading to OS X 10.3.9. My current firmware is 4.14f1; should I be upgrading to the latest firmware 4.2.8f1?

Run software update in OS9 and see what it says.
