hi,

Two questions from an Apple newbie.

1). Can I use Tiger to copy my primary drive to a second identical drive such that I could recover from a disk crash?

2). Can I use Tiger to build a identical duplicate of my primary drive that will boot like the primary?

Please advise how this is done and if I need additonal software.

Thanks

You could potentially (if you have room) use Disk Copy in the utilities folder to back up, but your best bet for making and identicle, bootable copy, is to use Carbon Copy Cloner

It's available here
