Does anybody know which DVD burner Apple is placing in the currently shipping G5's?

I'm fairly sure it's the DVR-109.

I also have dual g4 that I installed a DVR-109 in and its very quiet. My new G5 isn't very quiet.

If you have a current G5, you can find out which drive it has through System Profiler.

Apple Menu > About This Mac > More Info... > ATA

I know you can use the System Profiler but it doesn't really make sense because this is what comes up with:

HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GWA-4165B

You tell me which drive this is?

My DC G5 has a Pioneer DVR-110D I like it alot. I burns full DVD in like 6 miutes and can burn(maybe the retail version apple always limits them)dual layer dics at 8x.
