I have a weird problem, the other day i was burning some cd's and everything was fine, but then my pioneer 109 cd/dvd burner stopped recognizing cd's or cdr's.. but it recognizes dvd's and even burns dvd's. Can anyone help? I have a quicksilver running Tiger. You can email me at Omardottcom@aol.com if you want. Thanx

Have you tried the CDs on another computer? And that's entirely possible. The drive uses different lasers at different frequencies to read the respective media. Pioneer DVR-110D is $39.99 at newegg.
