I have an older iMac G3 with 290MB of RAM running at 333Mhz on I am using OS 10.4. All forms of video have lately been running choppy and out of sync. I don't remember this happening with OS 9. Is this a RAM or clockspeed problem? Is it worth upgrading this old thing, or shall I just can it and get a mac mini? Thanks!

My first thought is "no kidding," you've got an ancient CPU.

I'd get a mini or and Intel iMac.

It's both. I wouldn't bother doing antyhing with it, though - just get a new machine.
