Two questions here as I think I have two choices in buying a monitor for the mac-mini.

1) Bearing in mind that I'm thick as **** when it comes to macs, will this monitor plug into a mac-mini with the cables provided? Click here for link

My other option (if it'll work) is.....

2) I'll be purchasing a Dell Dimension 9150 in a few months. It comes with a 19" Analogue Flat Panel Monitor. Is there any way I can plug both my Dell PC and a Mac-Mini into this monitor at the same time?

Thanks in advance.

1. The link you provided doesn't give any specs or tell me whether or not any cable is included with the monitor. However, if a it uses DVI and includes a cable, it will work fine. If it uses VGA and includeds a cable, it will work fine with a DVI-to-VGA adaptor.

2. Yes, you can use the same monitor for both computers by getting a KVM. Since it's an analogue monitor, you'll need to use a DVI-to-VGA adaptor on the Mac Mini, as well.

1) If it includes a cable, then it will be fine.

2) Upgrade to the 1905FP LCD, then you can connect both computers at the same time without buying a KVM.

Wouldn't advise you to get that screen - for the same price you can often find a 17" one, which has much more screen area. PCWorld/Dixons/Currys has a perfectly decent (but no-name) one for £170.
