I'm curious as to how much thinner the iSight G5 (or Intel) is in comparison to my Rev.B iMac.

If you can, measure the edge but do not include the part where it starts to curve and taper off. Just the sharp edge of the clear lucite.
The Rev B. is 1.875 inches thick.

1.5" on the new iMac Intel... from the very front to the back when the edge is sharp cause after that it goes out even further as it reaches the spot to attach to the base. I could probably take a picture if you don't understand what I mean...

Wow, that's a whole 3/8 of an inch thinner than mine.
Pretty amazing how they've narrowed these things.
