Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question, but I have an iMac G5 w/o iSight, and I wanted to purchase more memory for it, but I wasn't sure whether the same one to up the memory of an intel iMac.

The new iMacs use laptop-sized memory (and it's a different type as well) so you will need to get new memory.

Ye as Icruise said, if your looking around for RAM for the intel iMac, then you need an SODIMM stick, whereas the G5 would need just a DIMM

You need a 200-pin PC2-5300. It is sold out almost everywhere. Make sure that you don't buy the 240-pin it would not fit even if it says PC2-5300....
