There is a vga plug in in the back of this old thing and I have the xbox 360 along with the vga adapter (allows you to play the 360 on high-def on crt or lcd monitors). I hooked it up to the back of the mac and turned on the xbox 360 and then the Imac and the mac os still loaded instead of the 360 displaying. I have used the 360 vga adapter on my friends sony lcd monitor and it works great. How can I use the Imac as a crt for my 360??
That is a VGA OUTPUT - not an input, designed so that you can mirror the iMac's screen image to another screen or projector. Hooking up two outputs together may even damage one or both of the devices.
