hope to get a silent upgrade mini. i realize that on the box it will include the original specs (1.42 ghz, 32 vram, etc.) but is there any other way to tell if its upgraded w/o taking it home and booting it up? also, what will > my chances of getting one, ordering from apple or going to the local apple store? wanted to wait for the intels but im soooo anxious to get one

There really isn't a way to know. I think they are mostly luck of the draw. I was hoping to get one but got a 1.42 GHz. Ah well.

really, where did you buy, apple.com or local apple store? when did you purchase?
