Hy, I'm thinking of buying the new SIIG PCI-E firewire card for my Quad G5

could you kindly tell me that the SIIG Firewire PCI Express Card support deep sleep.

Another question would be about "Y" split power cable : do we systematically need to use it to empower firewire devices, or could we have a configuration without it, considering that the power coming from the G5 through the PCI Express bus to the card will be sufficient to power devices.
Furthermore, we are not sure about the case in which we absolutly need to use the Y split cable.
